Hyatt Extreme Christmas is a Residential Holiday Display of Mark and Kathy Hyatt.
The Hyatt Family have been decorating their Home in the City of Plantation Florida since they got married in 1990 and each year they look forward to the smiles and joy that our brought to visitors of the display from ages 9 months to 90 years old.
Holiday decorating is a long time Family Tradition passed on from Mark’s Dad, Don Hyatt and also on his Mother’s side of the Family from Uncle Dick Wingert. Mark’s Dad a Retired Decorated Veteran impressed upon his young family that Christmas is not only a Holiday in the Traditional Sense but also a time of reflection of Good Will and Gratitude. Don Hyatt often was quoted that “People want to be appreciated, not impressed”.
Thanksgiving Dinner was always held at Uncle Dick and Aunt Sally’s Home and afterwards Uncle Dick would break out the Christmas Decorations from the Attic and together both families would go all out and decorate the house with lights.
The Hyatt’s love this time of the Year as this give us an opportunity to spread “Joy” and “Holiday Wishes” to so many People of all Religious Faiths. No display anywhere in the country can match up to Hyatt Extreme Christmas. From having the Largest Residential Nativity Display in Florida to Step by step decorating our Holiday Display has become a Landmark in Fort Lauderdale.
Our display is as traditional as Christmas itself, with handmade and hand painted lollypops that line the Walkways that lead you right into Santa’s Workshop. Children are delighted to see heirloom pieces of elves working on toys and a glimpse of Mrs. Claus sitting by the fireplace. Santa’s Candy and Toy Shop is right next door surrounded by Gingerbread Village.
On the way, you pass the 20 ft Ferris wheel where the Hyatt kids each night will select a different stuffed animal from their bedrooms to take a ride. Across is the Christmas Mega Tree of lights that have Lighted Christmas Packages underneath. The fun continues through the Land of Snow White, Playful Penguins, Winter Wonderland, Disney and Loony Tune and Snowman Village.
A favorite of many of the young children is Santa’s Reindeers taking off into the air and children see Rudolph leading the way with his Red Nose Blinking just like the story goes.
However, by far Our Favorite part of the Christmas Display is our most most Beloved and Treasured “Nativity Scene” that has its own set of Musical Angel Carolers that help express the true meaning of Christmas in an extreme way. Surrounded on each side of the Angels singing have two Powerful Messages.
“Wisemen Still Seek Him” and “Pray For Peace on Earth”
We invite you to join us and allow us to share our Family Traditions with you and yours as we celebrate this very special holiday. We look forward to seeing you, Merry Christmas from the Hyatt Family!
